Meet the founder

"I'm not your typical investment banker."

Rina Hicks serves as Chief Operations Officer at Faida Investment Bank, where she also directs the Corporate Finance Advisory Unit. Over 20 years in investment banking and financial advisory, she has led capital market transactions across Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda, including cross listings, rights issues, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raises.

She is the founder of RH Group Limited and Money-Wise®, and the author of Money-Wise: Create, Grow & Preserve Wealth (2016). She has also served on boards across Kenya's investment industry, real estate, and the NGO sector, and has spent her career translating finance into language that everyone can act on. In 2022, she was named among the Top 10 Women to Watch in Banking and Finance in Africa (Angaza Awards).
